Profit at the Wimbledon tennis championships this year rose by 7% to record levels for the Lawn Tennis Association in England.
The LTA said the profit was £37.8 million. The association invests the surplus back into tennis in Britain.
The BBC reports it spent £12.3 million in the past year investing in developing tennis players and more than £17 million on encouraging people to take up the sport.
