NZ market up slightly

The NZX50 index closed up 3 points, or 0.07% at 4,058 on a volume of 12.5 million shares and a turnover of $33 million on Monday.

The New Zealand dollar was trading at 82.19 US cents, 79.10 Australian cents, 50.87 pence, 69.39 yen and 0.6238 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 73.58.

Auckland International Airport Ltd was down 3.5 cents to $2.695, Contact Energy was down 9 cents to $5.30 and Chorus was up 3 cents to $2.95.

Diligent Board Member Services was up 7 cents to $5.53, despite having to set up a special committee to to review options and shares granted to some of the company's executives.

Fletcher Building was up 5 cents to $8.30, Hallenstein Glassons was up 16 cents to $5.50 and Infratil was up 2 cents to $2.30.

Mainfreight was down 8 cents to $11.78, Refining NZ Ltd was up 7 cents to $2.50 and Port of Tauranga was down 17 cents to $13.08.

Restaurant Brands was down 5 cents to $2.71, SkyCity Entertainment down 4 cents to $3.75, Trade Me down 1 cent at $3.93 and The Warehouse was up 3 cents to $3.00.
