Christchurch based firm SLI Systems, founded in 2001, has received a $1 million equity injection from Trade Me founder, Sam Morgan.

SLI provides search and navigation services for websites, and its clients include retail icons The Warehouse in New Zealand, Harrods and Interflora in Britain, and Jelly Belly, Ulta, and Hardrock Cafe in USA.

Co-founder and chief executive Shaun Ryan said revenue has grown almost 30% a year in the last five years, and Sam Morgan's involvement raises its profit and allows it to expand faster.
