Navman Wireless has been acquired by the Fortune 250 science and technology company Danaher Corporation.

Navman, which provides GPS systems to business and government fleets, will function as a standalone company, retaining the Navman Wireless brand, its personnel and locations.

The New Zealand-founded company was bought by Brunswick Corporation in 2004 and the majority of its units were sold to MiTac in 2007.
