Trade delegation going to Latin America

The Prime Minister will lead a trade delegation to Latin America next week with a focus on strengthening bilateral relations and capitalising on trade opportunities.

John Key will be visit Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Brazil, which have a combined gross domestic product of around $US4 trillion, which is forecast to grow more than 4 percent in the next few years.

The Government says these countries are markets which present valuable opportunities for New Zealand businesses looking to export their services and expand operations, and are a natural fit for the country's expertise in areas like agri-business, renewable energy and education.
