Transpower has increased its half year profit by 45% as revenue rose.
The national grid operator's earnings for the final six months of last year rose by $34 million to $111.5 million.
Transpower chief executive Patrick Strange said the lift was largely due to a 20% increase in revenue from recent upgrades to its grid.
The operator will pay the Government a half year dividend of $92 million.
