The amount spent on credit and debit cards has risen for the fifth month in a row, in February.
The latest figures from Paymark, which processes three quarters of all electronic transactions in New Zealand, says spending rose just under 1% to $3.8 billion between January and February.
On an annual basis, spending has increased 1.8%.
