Google is to offer its personal assistant app Google Now to users of Apple devices.
Google Now is a voice-activated software programme. It will be available to users of Apple iPhones and iPads, which use the iOS operating system.
"Today ... your smartphone will become even smarter," said Andrea Huey in a blog announcement.
