Anti-bailout measures announced

The government of Slovenia has announced a package of measures it hopes will help avert a bailout from the European Union.

Slovenia has been in recession since 2011 and analysts say it's the most likely country to seek help from the EU, following a bailout of Cyprus earlier this year.

Slovenia will undertake a major restructuring of its banking sector, sell off state-owned assets and raise taxes.
