Three technology magazines will be closed under Fairfax next month.
Computerworld, PC World and Reseller News will all cease publishing under the Fairfax banner in July. Their licences are owned by the International Data Group.
Fairfax Magazines said the closures are due to the tough economic climate for publishing worldwide.
General manager Lynley Belton said job losses are likely, but the decision is in the best interest of the company.
IDG said it still plans to serve the New Zealand market and will announce its plan shortly.
