Ebos, a pharmaceuticals and medical supplies distributor, says its Onelink subsidiary has been confirmed as the preferred medical supplier to all 20 district health boards.

Ebos says a final decision by Health Benefits, the Government company charged with streamlining the national distribution of medical supplies and of pharmaceutical distribution to certain public hospitals, is not expected until later in the year.

Managing director Mark Waller said it has taken two years of competing with eight multi-national companies to get to this point.

Ebos currently supplies the Auckland, Waikato, Otago and Southland DHBs and part of Northland's.
