The Global Dairy Trade Price Index fell 1.8%, with an average selling price of $US4797 per tonne.
Prices remain high despite this second consecutive fall; the average price is up more than 40% compared with a year ago.
A total of 49,300 tonnes was sold, a 14% increase on the previous auction.
Prices for the benchmark wholemilk powder fell 3.7%.
