Yahoo is to give the billionaire activist investor, Carl Icahn and two of his allies, seats on its board.
The concession ends his fight to oust the board for its handling of a failed takeover bid for Microsoft.
The terms of the deal will see Mr Icahn, who owns almost 5% of Yahoo shares, withdraw his slate of nominees for election to the board.
