Opus International has seen an increase in half year earnings, helped by offshore acquisitions.
The engineering consultancy firm made a profit of $9.1 million for the six months to June - an increase of 38% on the same period a year earlier.
Revenue rose 28% to $178 million, with more than half of the increase coming from a push into Australia, Canada and Britain, as they seek to replace aging infrastructure.
Ongoing demand in its New Zealand roading arm provides the bulk of revenue.
Opus declared a dividend payout of 2.6 cents per share.
