Truck and tractor sales boost profit

The Colonial Motor Company saw profit increase 11% to $7.2 million in the year to June.

Revenue rose 15% to $523 million because of more sales of heavy trucks and tractors, and a change in the way it reported revenue from sales of new vehicles to lease companies.

Colonial says higher fuel prices hurt sales of used and large cars in the final quarter of the year.
