Fletcher Building has appointed Matt Crockett to head its heavy building products division.

Mr Crocket is currently the chief turnaround officer at Spark, formally known as Telecom. He starts his new role in July.

Airwork Holdings lifts profit

The aviation firm, Airwork Holdings, has lifted its net profit by 72 percent to about $7.9 million, underpinned by a strong performance from leasing helicopters.

Airwork owns, operates, as well as leases, helicopters and fixed wing aircraft. It said the profit is also 25 percent above its prospectus forecast.

Revenue jumped almost seven percent to $70.3 million, when compared with the same period a year earlier.

Snakk Media sales jump

Snakk Media said its unaudited sales have jumped 47 percent to $3.3 million for the three months to December.

The firm said sales generated in the quarter equates to almost half of the company's full-year result last year.

Snakk uses apps, games and social media to help business brands reach customers on their smartphones, tablets and other smart screen devices.
