The German-owned and based banking giant is quitting this country and nine others, sacking as many as 35,000 staff, and suspending dividends to save bilions and return to profitability.

Deutsche partners with Craigs in an investment banking operation, but the head of the unit Brett Shepherd, said there should be no impact on services or clients.

He said it was possible some of Deutsche's 30 or so staff may be offered jobs somewhere within the Craigs Investment Partners group.
