Advertising revenue down a bit

Advertising revenue across all main media fell slightly in 2008.

The Advertising Standards Authority says revenue was $2.31 billion for the 12 months ended 31 December 2008.

This compares with a total of $2.33 billion in 2007.

The turnover includes revenue from newspapers, television, radio, magazines, outdoor, cinema, mail and interactive media.
