Second duty free operator confirmed at Auckland airport

Auckland International Airport Ltd has confirmed James Richardson as its second duty-free operator.

The slot, next to DFS group, is available due to the upcoming expiry of Regency Duty Free's duty free licence.

The airport company says an international tender process had ensured it can maintain two duty free operators, which means travellers will continue to have a competive range of products to chose from.

Melbourne-based James Richardson ranks as the 10th largest duty free operator worldwide. It trades under the name JR Duty Free.
