The giant beverage company says it's agreed on a price for the juice maker and has applied for clearance from the Commerce Commission to buy the company.

Frucor is owned by the Japanese company Suntory. It sells the V, Arano, Fresh Up, Just Juice, McCoy and Citrus Tree brands.

Simply Squeezed is owned by the private equity firm Crescent Food Group. The purchase price is not being disclosed.
