NZ ranked 11th in world trade survey

An international business report ranks New Zealand as one of the best places in the world to trade with.

The annual trade report by the World Economic Forum ranks New Zealand 11th out of 121 countries, ahead of Australia, the United States, Britain and Japan.

Singapore is ranked number one.

The report compares countries on services, policies and institutions that help foster trade.

New Zealand is ranked fifth for border administration and 11th in regulatory environment. However, infrastructure was 22nd and market access was 39th.
