Recovery won't be simple, IMF warns

The world has begun to recover from recession, though the process will not be simple, warns the International Monetary Fund.

The IMF says the recession has left deep scars, which will affect both supply and demand for many years to come.

Its warning follows news this week that Japan has followed France and Germany in returning their economies to growth.

In July, the IMF said the world economy was starting to pull out of recession.
