A takeover offer has been made for the laundry-service operator, Taylors Group.
The Australian-based Spotless Group, which has a 66% stake in Taylors, is offering $2.08 per share for the remaining shares.
That is a 4% premium on Taylor's closing price on Monday.
Shareholders will also get a 7 cent dividend payout if they accept.
Spotless says it is an attractive offer for investors in a company where trading is low.
The bid needs the support of 90% of shareholders. Taylors is urging shareholders not to sell, until the offer has been scrutinised.
