NZ market ends day lower

The New Zealand market was down 10 points, or 0.32%, to 3074 on Wednesday on turnover of $63 million.

Telecom was up 4 cents a share to $2.73, Sky City gained 1c to $3.31 and Mainfreight rose 1c to $4.95. Fisher and Paykell Appliances fell 4c to 74c.

The Australian market was down 1.7% at the close, despite the economy growing 0.6% during the June quarter, the ABC reports.

The All Ordinaries slipped 75 points to 4,437, while the ASX 200 was down 76 points to 4,438.
