Zintel Group says it has reached a conditional agreement to acquire the business telecommunications specialist Cogent Communications for $1.9 million.
Zintel says the acquisition will extend its capability and help create a broader range of products.
The combined revenue of both companies is expected to exceed $60 million annually, with 250 employees in New Zealand and Australia.
Zintel says the purchase will be funded from cash reserves. While further investment will be required, it should not require any debt funding.
