NZ market falls slightly

The New Zealand share market fell 0.03% on Monday.

The benchmark NZX50 index fell 1 point, or 0.03%, to close at 3155 on turnover of $75 million.

Telecom was down 4 cents to $2.63, Fletcher Building was up 3 cents to $8.35, and Contact Energy was down 7 cents to $5.91.

Sky City Entertainment was down 6 cents to $3.18, Auckland International Airport was up 7 cents to $1.92 and Sky Network Television was up 4 cents to $4.52.

New Zealand Oil and Gas were down 8 cents to $1.65.

Rakon was up 4 cents to $1.49.

Sanford was up 13 cents to $5.00.

Tower was down 6 cents to $1.72.

Restaurant Brands was up 6 cents to $1.25 after last week's profit upgrade.

The Australian 200 index was down 21 points, or 0.5%, to 4672.

At 5.2opm, the NZ dollar was trading at 70.72 US cents, 81.71 Australian cents, 43.59 pence, 64.79 yen, 0.4818 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 64.56.
