A survey shows businesses are continuing to delay plans to sell up, as the recession eases.

The ASB Succession Planning Monitor shows 6.8% of respondents plan to hold onto their businesses for another three years.

The survey also found a slight increase in business owners who feel now is a good time to sell, compared with the previous survey.

ASB surveyed 421 businesses during the June quarter.
