Companies taking less time to pay their bills

Dun & Bradstreet says companies are taking less time to pay their bills.

Its latest survey shows the number of days taken to receive payment fell to 44 days in the three months to September, down about one day compared with the previous quarter.

It's now declined for the third quarter in a row. Dun & Bradstreet see this as further evidence the economy is on the path to recovery.

However, it's still well above the standard 30 day terms.
