The New Zealand share market was down 16 points, or 0.5%, to close at 3201 on Thursday on turnover of $79 million.
Telecom was down 6 cents to $2.49 per share, Fletcher Building fell 8c to $8.32, while Contact Energy also lost 8c to $6.19.
Retailer The Warehouse gained 7c to $4.48.
Pine Gould Corporation is on a trading halt while it tries to raise $25 million to $30 million from institutional investors.
