The New Zealand share market was down 22 points, or 0.7% at the close of trade on Tuesday to 3192.
Fletcher Building was down 13 cents to $8.29 per share, Telecom lost 1c to $2.49 and Contact is fell 4c to $6.24.
ANZ Banking Group shed 17c to $29.16.
Sky Television was 8c lower to $4.72 and Sky City Entertainment fell 4c to $3.43.
Sanford rose 4c to $4.80, while Fisher & Paykel Healthcare gained 5c to $2.99.
