Botry Zen has gained regulatory approval from the US for its products.

The biotechnology company, which makes sprays used to combat fungal infections in grapes, says it has approval from the US Environmental Protection Agency for the registration of its product as a biofungicide.

It says this is an important step as it seeks to enter the US market.

Botry Zen has had troubles in recent times, finding it difficult to raise extra cash to keep trading.
