Nuplex says its Asian businessses are showing strong growth, doubling their contribution to group profit so far this year.
The resins manufacturer says a combination of increased demand and lower costs were behind the improvement, with sales in China and Vietnam leading the way.
Nuplex was forced to offer a deeply discounted rights issue this year to shore up its balance sheet and repay debt.
The company will issue a trading up-date at its annual meeting on 6 November.
