Shares in Sky City Entertainment Group are up 3%, after posting a strong performance for the September quarter.

The casino and cinema operator says it's on track for double-digit earnings growth this financial year.

At its annual meeting in Auckland on Friday, chief executive Nigel Morrison told shareholders underlying revenue had risen 4.7% in the period.

Mr Morrison says a smoking ban in Australia is projected to hit revenues at its Darwin operation by up to 15% later this year, but other areas are performing well.
