The German government has advised web users to find an alternative browser to Internet Explorer to protect security.
The warning was issued by the Federal Office for Information Security after Microsoft admitted its browser was the weak link in recent cyber attacks on Google's systems.
However, Microsoft says the risk to users is low and that the browser's increased security setting would prevent any serious risk.
