Net profits at McDonald's were up 23% in the last three months of 2009.
Fourth-quarter profits at the company were $US1.22 billion, up from $US985 million for the same period a year earlier. However, full-year revenue fell 3%.
The company served 60 million customers per day in 2009, up from 58 million per day in the previous year.
