The New Zealand share market was up 23 points, or 0.7%, at 31 30 at the close on Monday on turnover of $111 million.
Fletcher Building was down 2 cents to $7.90 per share, but Telecom rose 2c to $2.36 and Contact Energy was 10c higher at $5.80.
Auckland International Airport was up 3c to $1.88 after completing a retail book build on its share offer.
Air New Zealand gained 4c to $1.33.
Cavalier Corporation rose 9c to $2.67 after its first-half profit fell 6% to $7 million.
Sky City Entertainment gained 3c to $3.20, while Sky Television Network was up 2c to $4.82.
Retailer The Warehouse was unchanged at $3.73, while Hallenstein Glasson gained 5c to $3.55.
