The New Zealand share market was 19 points higher, or 0.6%, at 3183 at the close of trade on Tuesday. Turnover was $58 million.
Fletcher Building gained 7 cents to $8 per share, Telecom was up 4c to $2.23 and Contact Energy fell 5c to $6.18.
Auckland International Airport rose 1c to $1.88, while Air New Zealand was 2c lower at $1.29.
Retailer The Warehouse was up 2c to $3.80. Hallenstein Glasson was unchanged at $3.52.
Pyne Gould Corporation was up 1c cent to 45c and GPG gained 3c to 90c.
NZX was unchanged at $2.04.
