China's currency undervalued - IMF

The world's third-biggest economy is facing more calls to let its currency, the yuan, appreciate.

The head of the International Monetary Fund, Dominique Strauss-Kahn says the yuan is very greatly undervalued.

The US Senate is considering pressing for sanctions against Beijing if China's currency is not revalued.

A low yuan help China's exporters, but Beijing says the importance of this is being over-emphasised.
