Hoki-1 exploration drilling resumes

New Zealand Oil & Gas says drilling of the Hoki-1 exploration well in the offshore Taranaki Basin has resumed.

Drilling has been delayed for three weeks as while the rig operator, Maersk Drilling, carried out essential repair work on the Kan Tan IV.

Shares in New Zealand Oil & Gas were up 3 cents to $1.57 on the NZX50 on Tuesday.
