Briscoes Group, the owner of Briscoes and Rebel Sports retail chains, has reported a rise of 7% in first quarter sales.
Revenues for the three months to 2 May were almost $97 million.
Same store sales also rose 7% compared to the first quarter last year.
Briscoes says profits for the period were ahead of last year, but its gross margin percent fell slightly due to competition between retailers.
