TradeMe says it's recorded an increase of 29% in job advertisements in the past year.
The website has just completed a study of 30,000 jobs listed in the three months to June.
Jobs listings during the period were up 15% on the first three months of the year, driven by more vacancies in the information technology, sales and human resources and recruitment sectors.
Auckland, Waikato, Gisborne, Wellington and Taranaki recorded the strongest growth.
TradeMe attributes the trends to renewed confidence following the recession.
