Companies in Canterbury are being urged to use a website that offers advice and information to help them recover from the earthquake.
RecoverCanterbury.co.nz includes information on the Government's earthquake subsidy for wages, demolishing unsafe buildings and links to other companies which may need, or which may be able to offer, assistance.
The site also contains a survey to assess the immediate needs of the business community, to ensure an appropriate region-wide support system is put in place by the Government.
Sponsors of the website are the Canterbury Employers' Chamber of Commerce, New Zealand Trade & Enterprise, Canterbury Development Corporation and Christchurch City Council.
