The New Zealand stock market was down on Wednesday morning.
At 1.15pm, the NZX50 index was down 9 points at 3224
Fletcher Building was down 13 cents to $8.53, Contact Energy was up 1c at $5.76 and Telecom was down 4c at $2.02.
Fisher & Paykel Appliances was up 1c to 61c and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was down 2c to $3.09.
Air New Zealand was down 1c to $1.83, Tower was up 2c to $1.84.
Pumpkin Patch was unchanged at $1.95 after its full year earnings jumped 76% to $25.5 million.
Sky City Entertainment was down 2c at $2.88 and Sky Network Television was down 4c to $5.21.
New Zealand Oil & Gas was up 1c to $1.31.
Guinness Peat Group was up 2c to 68c after four new directors were appointed to placate investors unhappy about the future direction of the investment concern.
The Warehouse was up 3c to $3.83.
Restaurant Brands gained 1c to $2.60 after posting sales growth of 3.9% between May - September from stores open at least a year.
Across the Tasman, the Australian 200 index was up 13 points to 4630.
The New Zealand dollar was trading at 73.63 US cents, 77.03 Australian cents, 47.12 pence, 62.53 yen and 0.5542 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 67.09.
