NZ market down

The New Zealand stock market was down on Thursday morning.

At 1.50pm, the NZX50 index was down 4 points at 3232.

Fletcher Building was up 3 cents at $8.63, Contact Energy was up 2c at $5.79, and Telecom was unchanged at $2.03.

Fisher & Paykel Appliances was unchanged at 60c and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was down 8c to $3.07.

Air New Zealand was unchanged at $1.29. Tower was unchanged at $1.83.

Sky City Entertainment was up 2c at $2.92 and Sky Network Television was down 2c to $5.20.

New Zealand Oil & Gas was down 1c to $1.29. The Warehouse was unchanged at $3.83.

Across the Tasman, the Australian 200 index was down 8 points to 4618.

The New Zealand dollar was trading at 73.28 US cents, 77.59 Australian cents, 46.79 pence, 61.95 yen and 0.5467 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 67.57.
