12:10 pm on 8 October 2010

New Zealand Farming Systems Uruguay has been dropped off the list of New Zealand's top 50 listed companies and DNZ Property Fund will take its place.

Olam International of Singapore recently took a 78% stake in NZFS.

The NZX says that because large strategic holdings are excluded from its calculations, the company now ranks 65th.

DNZ, which listed on the stock market in August, will enter the NZX50 instead.

Its shares are unchanged at $1.13.

The changes take effect on Monday, 18 October.
