The NZX50 index shed three points to close at 3233 on turnover of $64 million on Friday.

The New Zealand dollar climbed slightly in the afternoon. By 5pm, it was trading at 75.26 US cents, 76.52 Australian cents, 47.37 pence, 62.02 yen and 0.5398 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was at 66.92.
Fletcher Building was unchanged at $8.05, Telecom was up 1c to $2.05 and Contact Energy down 6c at $5.69,
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare was unchanged at $3.13.
Sky City Entertainment Group was up 2c to $2.94 and Sky Network Television was down 4c at $5.00.
Michael Hill International was unchanged at 71c after announcing on Thursday that first quarter sales rose 13%.
The Warehouse was unchanged at $3.88 and Hallenstein Glasson was unchanged at $4.39
Ebos Group was down 3c to $7.05 and Rakon was down 2c to $1.22
DNZ was up 3c to $1.16 after an announcement that it will enter the NZX50 next week.
