The New Zealand stockmarket rose on close of business on Tuesday, up 9 points to 3244.
Fletcher Building was up 2 cents at $8.08, Telecom rose 1c at $2.04, and Contact Energy was unchanged at $5.71.
Fisher and Paykel Appliances was up 1c to $0.58.
Sky City Entertainment Group rose 2c to $2.95, and Sky Network Television improved 1c to $5.01.
The Warehouse was down 1c at $3.87, but Pumpkin Patch rose 3c to $1.93.
Cavalier was up 4c to $3.04 while Diligent Board Member Services rose 2c to 66c after saying it has reached its goal of breaking even.
The New Zealand dollar is at 75.04 US, 76.39 Australian cents, 47.23 pence, 61.69 yen and 0.5406 euro. The Trade Weighted Index stands at 66.77.
