The New Zealand sharemarket's benchmark NZX 50 index rose is up 5 points to 3285 on turnover of $43 million dollars during early Thursday trading.
At 12:34pm, Fletcher Building was up 8 cents to $8.10, Telecom was up 3 cents at $2.07 and Contact Energy had fallen 1 cent to $5.86.
Fisher and Paykel Appliances slipped 1 cent to 60 cents and Fisher and Paykel Healthcare dropped 1 cent to $3.18.
Auckland International Airport was unchanged at $2.11 as was Air New Zealand at $1.34.
Sky City Entertainment was up 1 cents to $2.91.
NZX edged up 2 cents to $1.58.
New Zealand Oil and Gas fell 1 cent to $1.30.
ANZ Banking Group jumped 60 cents to $32.20 after its underlying annual profit rose five-fold.
Freightways slipped 2 cents to $3.05 after its first quarter earnings fell by 4%.
The Warehouse dropped 7 cents to $3.97, Hallenstein Glasson was unchanged at $4.45 and Pumpkin Patch rose 1 cent to $1.96.
In the currency markets, the kiwi was trading at 74.77 US cents, 76.82 Australian, 47.38 pence, 61.09 yen, 0.5424 euro. The TWI stood at 66.76.
