The Taco Bell fast food chain is fighting back against a law suit in the United States that claims its "seasoned beef" filling is mostly non-beef products.
The ABC reports Taco Bell bought full page advertisements in American papers on Friday, assuring its customers about the quality of the meat filling in its tacos and burritos.
A class action claims that calling it "seasoned beef" is false advertising because the filling is mostly comprised of substances other than beef including oats.
But Taco Bell says the lawyers have their facts wrong and the mixture is 88% beef.
The Mexican food outlet operates more than 5500 stores in the United States.
