Business leaders meet to discuss Christchurch future

12:57 pm on 14 March 2011

A meeting of about 100 business leaders and decision-makers in Christchurch has been organised for Tuesday to identify firms' pressing problems and discuss practical solutions to secure the city's future.

The Response and Rebuild Forum has been organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Speakers include Inland Revenue Commissioner Bob Russell, and banking and business interruption insurance experts will also be there.

The institute says the meeting aims to help firms identify their main priorities, and determine what support will be most useful from organisations like itself, to help return them to normal.
